Oral Health and Dental Care
Aims and objectives
To develop an academic platform for collaborative partnerships across primary care so as to nurture academic careers in primary dental care.
- Nurture and facilitate career pathways for clinical academic general dental practitioners
- Encourage dissemination of research findings and / or establish academic collaborations
- Link to wider academic networks in primary care and develop collaborative projects that are of relevance to both academic primary dental and medical care
- The outcome of ‘3’ above should optimise care for multi-morbid conditions.

Concensus statement
Our consensus statement for oral health in people with severe mental illness in collaboration with the SAPC Mental Health SIG was launched on 1st February 2022.
