Winner of the SAPC Principal Investigator or Medical Educator of the Year 2023

SAPC is delighted to announce that the winner for 2023 is Professor Blair Smith, University of Dundee.

"All the nominees showed their incredible support for early career academics and shows what a wonderful group of senior academics we have in primary care to support and encourage earlier career staff. The supporting statement that the nominee wrote showed though how much above and beyond Blair supported the ECA during an incredibly difficult time and the impact this had on enabling the nominee to continue from their academic GP training all the way through to successfully being awarded their PhD showed his dedication which went well above and beyond and is a worthy winner of the award."
