What I do: I look after the day to day running of the Society and its national annual conference (or ASM – annual scientific meeting).
My role with the Society: this involves being the main point of contact for enquiries, looking after the membership, finances, organisation of executive meetings and drafting minutes. Supporting and assisting the executive in their roles. I look after some aspects of admin for the Heads of Department group and the Primary Health Care Scientists group (PHoCuS). A significant part of my time is spent working alongside the host team to run the annual conference each year.
