Graduate Research Assistant

The Exeter Collaboration for Academic Primary Care (APEx) wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant to support the work of Dr Bianca Wiering. This NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) funded post will be for 90%FTE and is available from 16th October 2023 for 12 months, with the potential for hybrid working. The successful applicant will work with the NIHR South-West Peninsula Clinical Research Network, the NIHR Clinical Research Network Greater Manchester, GP surgeries, public and patient collaborators, and the research project team. 

The post will include liaising with the NIHR CRNs and GP surgeries to recruit ~30 GPs for vignettes and interviews, undertaking face to face and online interviews, coding and analysing transcripts using appropriate qualitative methods, working with Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) members, presenting progress updates orally and in writing, contributing to writing peer review publications, and presenting the study at national and international conferences.
