Liverpool - Academic Primary Care

The goals of our group are:

• Making Connections: addressing individuals’ personal sense of disconnection from a discipline; contributing to reconnecting research and teaching activities in Primary Care; and building sustained partnerships between Academic Primary Care (APC) and applied Primary Care (PC).
• Stimulating conversations about primary care: to raise awareness, stimulate debate and develop new channels of communication about the meaning and value of the distinctive PC and APC approaches; as well as the challenges facing them both
• Enhancing scholarships in primary care: enhancing the critical development, delivery and evaluation of PC through scholarly activity across all areas of research, teaching and clinical practice
