Rebuilding the SAPC website
Putting words into action
At SAPC we say we want to champion the aims and shared vision of our members to advance primary care through education and research.
But how do we actually do that?
One major way is with this website that was commissioned and created with one primary aim: to be a useful resource for career support for people working in Academic Primary Care.
The site does this by giving access to…
- Specialist training opportunities and membership of specialist groups
- Mentorship whatever stage of career you are at
- Opportunities to get involved in the work that defines academic primary care and thus primary care
- Simplifying the process of conference and workshop registration
We have a number of secondary aims too. As a member of SAPC and through the website you’ll be able to get your work (and yourself) better known. You’ll access to key information sources through the site such as jobs, news, research , key people and much more.
We hope the site will also help to support your work and your career through raising the profile of SAPC’s shared vision, and by improving public, political and professional understanding of why what we do matters.
Summary
The website is a distillation of our shared vision and a collective voice for our members that demonstrates to the wider community that we are serious about making a difference to the health and wellbeing of our patients.
