On 13 May 2026, the University of Nottingham hosted the annual Primary Care Mental Health Conference in partnership with the NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration (MH-TRC) Mission and the Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC) Mental Health Special Interest Group.
The conference brought together researchers, clinicians, people with lived experience, and policymakers from across the UK to explore the theme of 'Providing Better Care for Underserved Communities in Primary Care Mental Health'. The programme featured keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, networking opportunities, and discussions focused on improving access to mental health care and reducing inequalities in underserved populations.
Thank you to all delegates, presenters, sponsors, and organisers who contributed to a successful and engaging event.
