Serge Engamba is a General Practitioner and NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) GP Commercial Research Fellow within APeX – the collaboration for Academic Primary care at the University of Exeter.
My journey with the Society for Academic Primary Care began just over a decade ago, when my first abstract — supervised by Prof Amanda Howe — was accepted for the conference. I was ecstatic at the opportunity, and that moment sparked a lasting admiration for SAPC.
Fast forward to today: I am humbled to contribute to the Society’s direction as its new Treasurer and an Executive member. Many thanks to Prof Greg Irving for a thorough induction and to Prof Duncan Shrewsbury for their encouragement.
