West Midlands GPs invited to join the 7th Academic Seminar: Primary Care research - what why and how

This seminar focuses around the discipline of primary care research. It will provide intellectual stimulation, discussion, and a glimpse into how general practice can become stronger through primary care research.

FREE for AiTs. Open to all AiTs and First5 GPs in the West Midlands - places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and limited numbers apply. Study leave has been approved. Co-hosted by Health Education West Midland and RCGP-Midland Faculty.  

Date: Tuesday 18th of July, 13:30-17:00.

Venue: The Trinity Centre, Church Hill, Mill St, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1TF (free parking on site).
Facilitator: Dr Faraz Mughal, GP and Honorary Research Fellow.  

Itinerary: 13:30 - networking and lunch available. 
    14:00 - Dr Faraz Mughal - 'A conversation on primary care research'
    15:00-15:30 - Break with hot drinks
    15:30 - 16:30 - Assistant Professor Helen Atherton - 'Teamwork in primary care research - the key role of those outside the medical profession' 
    16:30 - Feedback and close. 

Price: AiTs are FREE and First5 GPs £10. 

Trainees are encourages to utilise their study leave for this seminar and if places are reserved and one cannot attend - please inform us as soon as you can in order for someone else to be able to attend.
