To promote quality health care and family medicine through undergraduate and postgraduate education, collaboration, research and innovative clinical services.

To be leaders in academic Family Medicine and primary health care, and to have an influence on health care policy, medical education and clinical research nationally and internationally.
We are working in partnership with Keele University School of Medicine to implement our new medical curriculum. Our spiral curriculum will enable you to build on your learning year-on-year, adding increased complexity to clinical problems introduced in year one.

The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health has an integrated structure that enables us to deliver a truly translational approach to the life sciences. This helps ensure smooth research pathways - from pure discovery science through to clinical application and patient care.
