Mission
To promote quality health care and family medicine through undergraduate and postgraduate education, collaboration, research and innovative clinical services.
Vision
To be leaders in academic Family Medicine and primary health care, and to have an influence on health care policy, medical education and clinical research nationally and internationally.
We are working in partnership with Keele University School of Medicine to implement our new medical curriculum. Our spiral curriculum will enable you to build on your learning year-on-year, adding increased complexity to clinical problems introduced in year one.

Research is an integral part of Dalhousie Medical School’s mission to advance the quality of health and health care in the Maritimes and beyond.
