General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) figures show that the University of Sunderland is consistently one of the top-ranking Schools of Pharmacy in the National Registration Assessment. The pass rate in 2019 was 89.82% which is significantly above the national average of 72.33%

We are delighted to have been named No.1 for Medicine in the UK, alongside our friends the University of Glasgow, in the Complete University Guide 2021.

Professor Rory McCrimmon, Dean of the School of Medicine, said, "This is an excellent result that shows once again that Dundee is among the very best places to study medicine.

The Institute’s research strengths lie in applied health research and underpinning methodological work. Pharmacy teaching at the University of Bradford dates back to 1927. In January 2018, we became the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences after the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics and Clinical Sciences joined Bradford School of Pharmacy.

We have an outstanding reputation in research and education (2017), including educational innovation. Our Team Based Learning has been recognised through the  Collaborative Award in Teaching Excellence and we are in the world top 250 departments of Pharmacy & Phamacology in the QS World University Rankings (2017).
