Amanda Howe is a retired GP and academic. She was a GP for 40 years, and went to her first SAPC conference in 1994. She was the Professor of Primary Care at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia from 2001-2022, and also had various leadership roles at the RCGP and the World Organization of Doctors. She hosted SAPC in Norwich in 2010, and was active as a HoD and in SAPC throughout her career.
