Professor Lindsey Pope is a Professor of Medical Education and Dean of Internationalisation (MVLS) at the University of Glasgow. She provides strategic leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through her roles as the Director of Community Based Medical Education within the Undergraduate Medical School and nationally as an Associate Postgraduate Dean for Academic Medicine for Scotland.

She is Specialty Adviser for General Practice to the Chief Medical Officer for Scotland and past Director of the Scottish School of Primary Care. She is an MRCGP Examiner and RCGP AI Clinical Consultant for the SCA assessment. Alongside this, she is a GMC Education Associate, contributing to national quality assurance of medical schools and their assessments.

Her international work spans Europe, the Middle East and Asia, supporting family medicine education and MRCGP[INT] development. 

Professor Pope has a broad research profile in medical education, with a particular focus on generalism, professional identity, assessment, EDI, workforce wellbeing and the clinical learning environment.
