The Applied genetics SIG has been re-invigorated in 2023.
The groups objectives are:
- Build a network of researchers interested in the role of genomics in primary care.
- To provide an opportunity for researchers from a range of backgrounds to network and collaborate with others interested in genomics and its applications in primary care.
- Provide a forum to share knowledge and expertise and enable discussion about the issues associated with research in this area, generate ideas and discuss research proposals and collaborations.
- Provide a central point of contact for researchers looking to find expertise in genomics in primary care.
- To encourage others to develop a research interest in this area.
