Legal Status for SAPC

SAPC is currently reviewing its legal status. At present we are an unincorporated membership organisation.  We are planning to apply to the Charity Commission to be a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with voting members other than its charity trustees.

If the application is unsuccessful we would become a company limited by guarantee.

24th February 2024

SAPC is still working towards becoming a charitable incorporated organisation and as part of this process on 24th February 2024 SAPC became a company limited by guarantee.

Articles of association have been filed, which replace the previous constitution.

10th July 2024

Updated articles of association were approved by a special resolution at the SAPC ASM 2024.

Updated strategic priorites were introduced at the SAPC AGM 2024.
