Yvonne Carter Award for Outstanding Early Career Researcher Winner 2019
SAPC and RCGP are delighted to announce that Dr Emma Wallace is the winner of this year's Yvonne Carter Award for Outstanding Early Career Researcher.
Emma will be giving a presentation around her key research interest entitled "Characterising older community-dwelling people at higher risk of experiencing adverse health outcomes" at SAPC's annual conference this year at the University of Exeter on the morning of Thursday 4th July.
Professor Yvonne Carter CBE was an outstanding and inspirational leader who had a remarkable impact on academic general practice. To commemorate her contribution to primary care research the Royal College of General Practitioners, through its Scientific Foundation Board, and the Society for Academic Primary Care have jointly instituted the Yvonne Carter Award for Outstanding Early Career Researcher.
