SAPC announces our new Chair for 2016-2019
SAPC is delighted to announce that our new Chair from July 2016 will be Professor Kate O’Donnell.
Kate is Professor of Primary Care Research & Development in Glasgow. She leads research in to the organisation and delivery of primary care, especially for marginalised groups; and the evaluation and routinisation of primary care policy in to practice.
Kate knows SAPC well having been a member of the Executive from 2003 to 2009, a member of PHoCuS, contributes to our mentor scheme and is a regular supporter of SAPC conferences and activities.
Kate will be joining SAPC Exec as Vice Chair in the new year, working with us as we plan our activities for 2016 and beyond. Kate will take up her role as Chair at the AGM in Dublin in July 2016.
We are excited to have Kate joining us at what is proving to be an important time for our discipline.
Welcome, Kate, from us all!
