Panna Muqit is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Placement Lead for the MBChB Phase One at the University of St Andrews, and Clinical Interactions Course Lead for ScotGEM (Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine) — a joint medical programme between the University of St Andrews and the University of Dundee. She is an early-career researcher in Health Professions Education, with academic interests in socially accountable medical education and in integrating community, primary care, and third-sector partnerships into undergraduate medical training. Panna is also a member of the Young Academy of Scotland (Royal Society of Edinburgh), where she contributes to interdisciplinary work linking community-based medical education with broader societal impact, reflecting her role as a GP and medical educator. She is committed to fostering meaningful clinical learning experiences that reflect the diverse needs of patients and communities across Scotland.
