Dr Chinelo Egwu is a SCREDS Lecturer in General Practice within the Division of Population Health and Behavioural Science at the University of St Andrews. She combines this Academic role with her specialty training in General practice at Airlie Medical Practice in Fife. Her professional experience spans global health systems strengthening, community-based HIV program implementation, and the delivery of both primary and secondary healthcare service across Nigeria and the UK. Her research interests focus on exploring the impact of inequalities in healthcare, improving clinical outcomes for patients with complex multimorbidity, and advancing evidence-based approaches to healthcare quality improvement.
