Dr Emma Wallace graduated from University College Dublin in 2004 and completed her postgraduate GP training with the RCSI/NAHBtraining programme in 2009. She has been working part time as a lecturer in the Department of General Practice at RCSI since 2010 while continuing to work as a GP in North Dublin.  Her teaching interests include managing risks and understanding error in general practice.  She is currently undertaking her PhD as part of the HRB PhD Scholars programme in Health Services research and was awarded the HRB Research Training fellowship in 2012. Her PhD is focusing on the impact of multimorbidity and potentially inappropriate prescribing on subsequent health outcomes in a cohort of older community dwelling adults.
