SAPC ASM 2017 abstract review criteria

Criteria for the assessment of Workshops

Workshops will be judged by two peer reviewers using a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) for each of the following criteria:

1. Feasibility

  •  are the aims and objectives likely to be achieved within the timeframe?

2. Structure / format

  • is there a structured and appropriate outline of the workshop and do any educational materials highlighted appear relevant?

3. Topicality

  • is the workshop looking at issues of interest / relevance at the present time?

4. Potential for widespread interest

  • will this appeal to an appropriate range of SAPC delegates – researchers and teachers in primary care (medical and non-medical)?

5. Likelihood of provoking discussion

  • subject of undoubted relevance to primary care, likely to be an important contribution to the discipline
  •
