GP Clinical research fellowship providing a year of training to develop academic skills at the University of Aberdeen, University of St Andrews, University of Dundee, University of Glasgow or University of Edinburgh. 

What are GP Academic Fellows?

General Practice Academic Fellowships are intended to provide a year of training to develop academic skills and to develop a new generation of General Practice academic researchers and teachers. Fellows will be primarily interested in research, but will be expected to develop skills and experience in both research and teaching during the post.  Research activities will be tailored to a fellow's interests and previous experience, and appropriate mentorship will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

Suitable applicants will either be within 3 yrs of having completed ST3 or have a CCT or expect to complete ST3 before commencing the post.
