Join Our Team! Senior Clinical Lecturer Position Community-based Medical Education

We are delighted to invite applications for the above post for Senior Clinical Lecturer 0.5 FTE in Community-based Medical Education at Queen Mary, University of London Medical School (Barts & the London). Applications are now open and will close on 12th April 2021. The main duties will be a leading role in the GP curriculum with particular responsibility for primary care placements in MBBS Year 3 (0.4 FTE). In addition the post-holder will contribute to the development of the wider curriculum as Deputy Head of Year 3 (0.1 FTE).

We are a well-established and happy unit responsible for undergraduate clinical placements in general practice. We are expanding our academic team as part of an innovative review of the curriculum focussing on community orientation and health equity in East London. 

We are looking for a primary care clinician with a passion for education who will contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute, School and University. They will bring significant experience in medical education, curriculum development and evidence of higher learning in pedagogy. Experience leading innovation and undertaking educational research would be very welcome.
